With the collective efforts of the country's horticultural pioneers, this association was established in 1989 under the name of the Horticultural Association and with the permission of the Ministry of Interior. In 1980, this association was registered with the Ministry of Science under the name of the Iranian Horticultural Sciences Association and has been promoting and developing horticultural sciences in Iran since then.
